With the NFL draft having recently concluded, the Philadelphia Eagles have some new players for the upcoming 2019 season. The 2019 draft was held in Nashville, Tennessee.  

In the 2019 draft, the Eagles selected only 5 new players. . This is the second consecutive year with 5 picks, as in the year 2018 the Eagles only selected five players, too. The Eagles had one first round pick and two second round picks. They used some of their 2019 picks for trades during the season.

 

The Eagles made three trades during the 2019 draft.. The Philadelphia Eagles sent their  fourth and sixth round picks to the Baltimore Ravens. In the fifth round, the Eagles traded down four spots. That added the seventh of the round pick from the other football team New England Patriots. In the first round,with the 22nd overall pick, the Eagles drafted  Andre Dillard.

 

Dillard, the Eagles’ first round pick was a left tackle for four years with the Washington State Cougars. Howie Roseman, the vice president of the Philadelphia Eagles, said that Andre was the best tackle in the 2019 draft pick. In the 2nd round, with the 53rd overall pick, the eagles chose Miles Sanders. Miles Sanders is a running back from Penn State University. Last season, the running backs on the Eagles suffered many injuries. Miles Sanders was the first running back of the 2019 draft.
