Opening day for baseball in Woodbury Heights was on Saturday, April 6th, 2019. Woodbury heights had a big parade for all of the baseball teams. After the parade, the game between Woodbury Heights and Oak Valley began in Woodbury Heights. For the last two to three years, they have battled out on Opening Day. Each year, WHAA asked the WHES teacher of the year to throw out the first pitch. This year, Mrs. Colella was there to throw out the first pitch. WHAA teams are looking forward to another great season, and so far their season is off to a great start. The boys majors will try to defend their Minors title after winning the championship last spring.
