The greatest fear of any pet owner is losing their beloved pet that they’ve been so close to for years. When that pet goes missing, the first thought that goes through their mind is the worst scenario of what might happen to their dog.A Dog’s Way Home”, directed by Charles Martin Smith, is an emotional roller coaster. It was released on January 11 ,2019 in theaters all around the United States.The film features a dog named Bella, who is a pitbull  that started off under an abandoned house. A man man named Lucas found found the dog while he was feeding the kittens under the house. Bella has a pretty good life with Lucas. Until the a cop finds out that they have a Pitbull,if the town finds the dog is out loose, they would have to take the dog away to the pound. In this moment, it’s difficult for the viewer to not feel a sense of sadness of compassion for Bella.

The main cast of A Dog’s Way Home includes Jonah Hauer-King and Bryce Dallas Howard as Bella the dog. You might recognize her from the movie Jurassic World, she plays the part of  Claire, One of the main characters. Bryce states that, she enjoyed filming this movie and thinks that dogs are amazing creatures. Terri, Lucas’s mom, is Ashley Judd,she is in a movie you may have seen, a Dolphin’s Tale. The producer Gavin Polone also  created the movie“A Dog’s Purpose”.

The man who played as Lucas in the film is, Jonah Hauer-King. According to rotten tomatoes, 6% of people didn’t like this movie, There was not  a lot of comedy scenes,so if you liked the movie homeward bound, than you will enjoy this movie. This would be a good movie for people who like drama and are good with holding in your tears. Can you believe that 94% of people liked it, says Popcorn, I know I could believe that. This movie was a hit. Parents say that the movie is 12+,but the kids say it is 11+, and common sense says 10+.

This movie was based on book, A Dog’s Way Home, and the book was based on a true story. It is about a dog getting lost for two years 400 miles apart from its home, and trying to make her way home. The adventures she had out in the wilderness were not true but is what they assume happened. If you are a type of person who enjoys dogs and bonding relationships then you should definitely go see this movie, but if you don’t like to shed a lot of tears in public, than you shouldn’t go to see this movie. This movie is not in theaters but, you can get the CD of A Dog’s Way Home.
