Sometimes people take 3 to 8 photos of the same thing- but why? Sometimes people do that because they want to get the perfect photo. If there are multiple good photos, it may be hard to choose one photo. You mostly look at the details to see which one is the most clear. But how do you take better photos? One thing you can do is to get close to the thing you are taking a photo of. If you do that, the photos should be popping out. If it is not popping out step 1 or 2 steps closer. If you go close enough you can see their facial expressions and that’s good.

Another way to practice taking pictures is to do it every day. Shoot as much as you can every day. It doesn’t matter what you take a picture of. Spend hours and hours behind your camera. As your technology skills improve, your ability to harness them to tell stories and other things too.  Don’t worry about shooting a certain way to begin with. Experiment your style and however you want.

Before shooting, try to find a light in the room you’re in and use the light as an advantage. It doesn’t matter if the light is from the sun. The light will make your pictures better. The reason light helps you take really good photos because it may be really dark. Light is really important when you are taking pictures. These are all things you can utilize to make an ordinary photo extraordinary.
