Last year, during a game, everyone was stunned by what they saw. They were shocked when they saw Carson Wentz being taken out by a cart. He had toren his Arterial Crucial Ligament (ACL) and needed a major surgery. Unfortunately, he could not play in the Super Bowl so Nick Foles had to take over. Carson was on crutches for the rest of the season. He started in late September. An ACL is a major ligament in your knee near your knee joint. He tore it by twisting his knee in the wrong direction during a game.

Carson Wentz is from Raleigh, North Carolina. Wentz is the quarterback for Eagles. Quarterbacks are members of the offensive team and line up directly behind the offensive line. He was born on December 30, 1992. So he is 25. He went to Century High School. He also got drafted on April 28th 2017 and now wears number 11 for the Eagles.

Wentz suffered a season-ending ACL injury against the Rams in week 14 of the 2017 NFL season. This meant he was on the sidelines as the Eagles became the SuperBowl Champions.  But Carson started off 2018 season better!   Go Eagles!
