The pronunciation of “Water” is one of the debates in America. Americans have different accents that they use. So different accents say “Water” differently.

According to the Water Guys, this accent of saying water is just because of how Philadelphians speak. This accent is also used in most of New Jersey.

Water is not the only word that people say differently. Another word that people in the Philadelphia region mispronounce is crayon. Philadelphians pronounce it like crown.

    I say both Sometimes I say Water Other time I say Wooter.
