Have you seen or heard rumors of giant footprints? What about strange noises in the night? Well, there are logical explanations for all of those. You may think of them as hoaxes, but with research, there’s more. It is a beast called a Sasquatch, or Bigfoot. The average size for a footprint is sixteen inches long and seven inches wide. The average height for a Sasquatch is eight to ten feet tall. Their calls sound like whoops or screams. New Jersey is most populated with Bigfoot. The cast of the show Finding Bigfoot did an investigation in Pine Barrens.

The gear for hunting Sasquatch consists of high-tech gadgets. You will need a video camera, an audio recorder, and night-vision goggles (for night). You will also need trust in yourself, witnesses, and patience. Before hunting, gathering information is recommended. You could find this in books or online. There are many websites that claim to be the most accurate. Make sure that the info is credible. It would be a good idea if you wanted to take notes. Another place to find information is the show Finding Bigfoot. That is a great show with Bigfoot expeditions and interviews with witnesses. You could also go to a Bigfoot museum.

The cast of Finding Bigfoot is Ranae Holland, Cliff Barackman, Matt Moneymaker, Jonathan Haranhan, Ken Scott, and James “Bobo” Fay. They do investigations on Bigfoot in many different states. They are releasing a new season in January, 2018. Matt Moneymaker is the president of the show. Their many adventures bring new opportunities along with new discoveries from the Bigfoot community. Sometimes, they even do their Bigfoot calls. They might get calls back. The amount of work that they put in is almost never ending. It’s a good thing that their job is something that they love.

Studying Bigfoot requires advanced technology. If you wanted to become a cryptozoologist for Bigfoot, you would need computer monitors, maps to mark sightings, tracking devices for hunting, and charts and graphs for marking down information. You would need to gather as much information as you can. There are some facts that are easy, so you could remember them without writing them down. For example, Bigfoot’s favorite food is peanut butter. He lives in areas that have enough space to build a bed, have enough water, and have easy access to food. There may be places that are close to you for looking for Bigfoot. Be sure to have a team with you. Do not go alone. Going alone means you have a chance of getting lost. Get a person that is good at navigating on your team. There could also be a person to carry supplies, such as water and granola bars. There should also be a person to take photos of evidence and set traps.

There are many things to prepare for a Bigfoot adventure. There is also a lot of fun in it. With the correct tools, gear, team, and information, you could be great at cryptozoology. Although there could be difficulties, there could be success hidden beneath struggle. You can never know whether these things are real or not. You can believe whatever you want. If you do believe, be safe when hunting. You should bring a team and an adult. Good places for hunting are West Virginia, California, and Idaho.
