A beautiful Christmas a young 10-year-old  boy by the name of Mark was waking from sleep. He was getting out of bed forgetting that it was Christmas. He was going down stairs to get breakfast and then he saw tons of presents for him and his sisters. Then Mark went up stairs to wake everyone so they can open presents. When Mark was done unwrapping, he was outside. They were racing with his dog; the dog won. Mark’s Mom just got his X-Box hooked up. He was happy, but still kept playing with his dog. It was getting dark, so Mark was going to bed.

The next day, Mark and his dad were about to go bike riding on a 2 mile long trail into the next town. The trail was dark and they barely can see any thing. Luckily, they have a light on their bikes. Mark’s dad allowed him to go too far ahead and then all of a sudden, Mark just disappeared. Mark’s dad looked for him and saw nothing and he was really nervous. His dad told the family. They were devastated and they couldn’t sleep for a week. They called the cops to investigate, but they couldn’t find anything. After three months of investigating, they found Mark’s leg. Finally, after 6 months of investigating, they found Mark dead with his bike, but something looked off with the bike. At the funeral, everyone was struggling to hold themselves together and they could not stop crying.

A year later, they finished the investigation, and they found the finger prints. Once they found the criminal, they locked him up for life. Mark’s mom and dad went through a lot of stress, they lost one of the best things in their life. When the investigators were done investigating, they said they found the wrong body. The parents were happy and they jumped out of their shoes, but they wanted to know where Mark was. Then, they remembered Mark has a micro chip in his head to show where he is. The chip is saying that he is in the next town over on his bike about 20 minutes away. How on Earth is he still alive? Now it says that Mark is on his way back but he was being chased by something. The thing that was chasing him was a brown bear. His dad quickly hopped on his bike and went to go hit the bear to save his son. Mark was so scared that he sold his bike because he never wanted to ride his bike ever again. Mark is very scared of being alone and didn’t want to leave home so he now is getting home schooled. His mom loves seeing him everyday, but she really needs time off sometimes. Mark loves being home schooled so much. Until he got the bad case of the flu and then they realized that he had pneumonia and almost died. He survived but he suffered for the rest of his life.

That was a great story. I really like how Mark didn’t actually die, but I was sad when you said that he suffered for the rest of his life.
