I am going to show you how to make Evie from the movie Descendants out of Rainbow Loom. You will need 1 yellow band, 2 red bands, 4 white bands, 9 tan-colored bands, 15 black bands, and 34 navy blue bands. You will need to put your rainbow loom in the staggered configuration. You will also need a rainbow loom hook, for the hooking process.

You will start by putting a single band at the top center peg to the second. From now on, you are going to use double bands unless I say so.

You’re going to double navy blue bands diagonally from the second middle peg to the second left peg. Do the same thing to the other side. You are going to put double blue bands from the second left peg to the third left peg. Do the same to the other side. Now you’re going to take double tan bands and put them from the second middle peg to the third middle peg. Do the same thing again, just under it.

You’re going to turn this shape into a circle. Take two more tan bands and put them from the third left peg to the fourth. Do the same thing to the other side.

Now you’re going to take double navy bands and put them from the fourth center peg to the fifth. You should now be done the face and neck. You are going to the eyes. Take a single black band and your hook. Twist the band around the hook three times creating four loops. Take another black band and do the same thing. Put a tan band on the hook so you can slide the twisted bands onto the tan band. Take the tan band off the hook and put it from the third left peg to the third right peg. Now separate the eyes using your hook or your fingers. You should now have the eyes done.

Now you’ll do the shoulders and hair. Start with the hair. Take a single navy band and twist it around your hook three times creating four loops. Now you’ll do a single chain by taking one navy band and sliding the twisted nay band onto the single navy one. Now take the opposite side and put it on the hook. You should now have two layers. Do this two more times. Make one more identical chain. Put one chain on the third left peg. Put the other chain on the third right peg. This will be your hair. Now do the shoulders. Take double navy bands and put them from the fifth center peg to the sixth.

Now take double navy bands and put them from the sixth left peg to the seventh. Do the same to the other side. It’s also the same for the center, you’re just going from the seventh peg to the eighth. Now take double black bands and put them from the seventh left peg to the eighth. Do the same to the right side. You’ll do the same for the center, just go from the eighth peg to the ninth. Now you’re going to do the legs and feet. Start with the legs by one black band and one white band. These will be your double bands. Put them from the eighth left peg to the ninth. Do the same for the opposite side. For the feet you will take a single black band and twist it around the ninth peg twice, creating three loops. Do the same to the other side.

For the arms, you will take a single black band and twist it around your hook three times creating four loops. Take a white and a navy band. Slide the twisted band onto these two band. Take this off the hook and put it on the fifth left peg. Do this again, just put it on the fifth right peg.

Now take a single black band and put it from the seventh left peg to the seventh right peg. Now take a single navy band and put it from the sixth left peg to the sixth right peg.

Now you can start the hooking process. Start by going to Evie’s foot and go under the twisted black band and pull up the black and white band. Pull it over the twisted band and put it to the top closest peg. Do this until you get to the top of the head. After you get there, stop.

Once your done that part of the hooking, hook the single band at the top. Once you’re done that, there should be two layers on the peg. Pull up the bottom layer and tighten the one layer that is left over.

Now take it all off the loom. You can use your fingers or your hook. You should now have your Evie.

Now make Evie’s necklace by twisting a red band around your hook three times, creating four loops. Now take a yellow band and slide the red band onto the yellow one. There should be two sides. Pull one side over the other and tighten the one layer left over. You should now have her necklace done. You can put it over her neck now.

Congrats! You finished your Rainbow Loom Evie. I hope you enjoy having your Evie by your side. Thanks!

I love it Maya! I love the fact that you list how many of each color you need. Over the weekend, I think I’m going to make the Audry you gave me Evie’s necklace. 😉 🙂 🙂 🙂
