The object of the game soccer or (“football” as it is called in some cultures) is to score the ball in the net. If you get scored on by the opponent it is a point to their team but if your goalie blocks the ball you continue to play.
As you are playing soccer you have obstacles (aka the opposition) because they have the power to take the ball from you and score. You may not use your hands. You must only use your feet, or else it will be a hand-ball and the opponent will get a free kick. If the ball goes out of bounds you may use your hands to throw it in.
While playing soccer, you can do tricks like faking you’re going to shoot one way and then going the other way. Hopefully this will confuse your opponent and they will not know where the ball is. If you score, you get a point and also a celebration with your team.
Soccer is a hard sport that some people take to the next level. You can practice at home on your skills to become a better player.
